View from the saddle on a balmy Friday

Freddy Mercury chillin outside Rojo while I enjoy a beer and yumminess with friends

Scary from the saddle shot after leaving Rojo

Beautiful church directly in front of my little house. I love it.

On the side of the road shot

This is steeper than it looks. I have to climb this to get home, no matter which way I go!

Pulling up to the humble abode.

  2. They ARE Simples. and I just love them! Not good for serious riding, but great for around the town jaunts.

  4. Wow, nice Bottecchia! Is it a 1990 Tre Tubi? I used to own one in the same color scheme when I lived in New Orleans but sold it when I moved to NYC in 2000. In the last few months I've seen a half-dozen of the purple and neon yellow beauties (modeled after the bike Greg LeMond rode through the Pyrenees on his way to a Tour De France victory in 1989) around town and now on this blog. Nostalgia is setting in pretty strongly. She's a bit heavier than most on account of her steel frame, but she's sturdy and not nearly as troublesome as some of your newer carbon or even aluminum frames.

  5. I can almost feel what it's like riding there. I'll bet it's hot, for one!
