View from the saddle on a balmy Friday
Freddy Mercury chillin outside Rojo while I enjoy a beer and yumminess with friends
Scary from the saddle shot after leaving Rojo
Beautiful church directly in front of my little house. I love it.
On the side of the road shot
This is steeper than it looks. I have to climb this to get home, no matter which way I go!
Pulling up to the humble abode.

ReplyDeleteThey ARE Simples. and I just love them! Not good for serious riding, but great for around the town jaunts.
ReplyDeleteThanks. :)
Pretty pictures...I love riding to happy hour. :)
ReplyDeleteWow, nice Bottecchia! Is it a 1990 Tre Tubi? I used to own one in the same color scheme when I lived in New Orleans but sold it when I moved to NYC in 2000. In the last few months I've seen a half-dozen of the purple and neon yellow beauties (modeled after the bike Greg LeMond rode through the Pyrenees on his way to a Tour De France victory in 1989) around town and now on this blog. Nostalgia is setting in pretty strongly. She's a bit heavier than most on account of her steel frame, but she's sturdy and not nearly as troublesome as some of your newer carbon or even aluminum frames.
ReplyDeleteI can almost feel what it's like riding there. I'll bet it's hot, for one!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute neighborhood!
